CEHTP Tracking Implementation Advisory Group (TIAG)
To ensure the success of the
Environmental Public Health Tracking Network (EPHTN) in
California, the Tracking Implementation Advisory Group (TIAG)
was formed comprised of the co-investigators to the Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)-funded
implementation grant plus two members-at-large. The members
of the TIAG are stakeholders representing various
entities—federal, state and local health and environmental
agencies, environmental and environmental health
organizations, data stewards, groups representing the
interests of health effected individuals, community-based
organizations, and other non-governmental organizations. The
TIAG membership will remain consistent throughout the entire
grant period.
A listing of the TIAG members can be found here.
The TIAG will be convened throughout
the implementation phase to provide CEHTP with guidance,
recommendations, and support for the development and
implementation of a state EPHTN. For more information on the
role of the TIAG, please see the
draft TIAG Charter.
On March 28th, we held the first TIAG
meeting where we further defined their role as a technical
body with the expertise essential for implementing a
successful EPHTN. |
